The Gathering 2023
The Gathering is for Anglicans working, living, and serving the marginalized and vulnerable, across North America. The purpose is to gather those working on the edges of society with under-resourced populations for a time of sharing ideas and fellowship.
We intentionally design The Gathering to be a hybrid of a retreat and a conference — offering participants the space to both breathe-in encouragement and also join fellow practitioners in finding ways to serve and love well in difficult and challenging contexts.

Bible Study
Monday, February 6, 2023
7pm-8:30pmOne of North America's foremost Old Testament scholars, Dr Daniel Carroll Rodas, is leading a monthly Bible Study for Anglican leaders on behalf of Matthew 25 Initiative.
The primary questions he will focus on comes from a Biblical ethics lens, unpacking how God desires his people to engage society, culture, and of course the “quartet of the vulnerable:” the poor, the widow, the orphan, and the stranger. How do we actively engage in a society so unforgiving and unpredictable?

Affinity Group
Friday, February 10, 2023
10am-11:30amAffinity Groups are made up of practitioners or people who work in a field of ministry. In Matthew 25 Initiative, it is those who serve in works of justice and mercy. We gather together to share stories, encourage, learn from and pray for each other.
Our prayer for these groups is that they become “your people,” a safe place to share and ask questions, a joy to participate in, and a source of encouragement.

The Gathering (2023)
The Gathering is for YOU — Anglicans working, living, and serving across North America on the edges of society with some of the most vulnerable, marginalized, and under-resourced populations, fulfilling Jesus’ call to love “the least of these.”
We intentionally design The Gathering to be an amalgam of a retreat and a conference — offering you a space to both breathe in encouragement and join fellow practitioners in finding ways to serve and love well in difficult and challenging contexts.
