Create Ministry Toolkits

Grant Amount Needed: $10,000

By supporting this project, you will be investing in the creation of projects and ministries that can be quickly deployed by churches desiring to walk with the vulnerable and suffering in their local communities. These initiatives will become our future grant applicants and then future mentors for the next wave of growth as we collectively achieve the vision of Archbishop Foley Beech of an expression of justice and mercy present in every parish across the ACNA.

Project Overview

We dream of a day when EVERY ACNA parish is actively engaged in ministry with, and alongside, the vulnerable in their community.

To achieve this vision, we are creating tools and resources that individuals, teams and parishes can access, be inspired by, learn from, share, and leverage as they tangibly love the suffering in their midst.

When a church catches a passion for her neighbors, one of the very next questions we regularly hear is “how?” These churches want to know how to create a project or ministry to care for the suffering in her midst.

In response to many such requests, we are in the process of creating “ministry toolkits.” The idea is to share the program model of successful ministries. Rather than starting from scratch and grinding through the early stages of trial and error, with these toolkits, churches can model best practices of organizations that have already honed the specifics.

Project Impact

The power of this initiative is in replication and scale. By working with organizations who have proven models, we can reach the needs of our neighbors in ways that are known to be effective; we can quickly support churches as they launch new initiatives.

To achieve this vision, we will be partnering with existing organizations and partners. This will require time and resources from multiple organizations to create toolkits and associated resources to launch new ministries. We will be leveraging new websites, videos, and other training materials to create these toolkits.
